Report to the company Director in Sydney, here is an overview of your responsibilities:
- Recruitment and selection
- Manage all HR functions within the employee life cycle- onboarding to off boarding
- Act as the first point of contact for general HR enquiries
- Ensure HR policies and records are compliant and up to date at all times
- Assist Managers with performance management or people issue matters providing fair and sound advice
- Facilitate staff communication to support engagement, culture, and performance management
- General office management
- Coordinate any employee events
- Provide continuous assistance to department head on day-to-day operations of HR functions, projects, and communications.
- Work on Adhoc HR projects time to time in line with business requirements
To be successful, you need:
- Proven experience in General HR administrative area for at least 4 years
- Retail background advantageous
- Intermediate to Advanced MS Skills (Word, Excel, Outlook & PowerPoint)
- Demonstrated experience in payroll and timesheet management
- Strong attention to detail and highly organised
- Excellent time management skills and ability to meet deadlines
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Proven ability to build and maintain internal & external relationships
